Coaching

Jess has been coaching individuals to perform at their best for over 11 years. Combining superb coaching skills and international industry experience, he guides job seekers and those who are in jobs to define and achieve their goals.

He provides a range of services for job seekers, ranging from assessments using the Myers Briggs and other instruments to job search skills, resume preparation, networking, interviewing and salary negotiation. For clients who are in jobs and want to perform at a higher level, he guides them in developing their Personal Vision and Strategic Career Plan.

Consulting

Jess Dods combines management and consulting experience in international business to help clients define goals and achieve measurable results. He connects people and organizational strategies to ensure that both are working at their best. Jess is an MBA graduate of Thunderbird, and brings a thorough grounding in business realities to his work.

He quickly develops rapport with individuals and organizations, and uses this as the basis to define areas for improvement in a collaborative way. Jess uses a variety of tools to provide results, including team building skills, workshops on improving communication skills and the alignment of organization and individual vision. He provides leadership training to help organizations put the best people in the positions that are the best for them.

Jess has consulted with clients in many different countries, and uses his multi-national experience to enhance diversity and promote synergy. He is fluent in Spanish. Prior to starting his own practice, he held senior consulting and management positions with Arthur D Little, Navigant, Tenneco, Exxon/Mobil and Manufacturers Hanover Trust. His clients typically remark that the strategic plans that they develop and implement with him have enabled them to achieve results beyond their expectations.
